What you can expect
A Ballroom Dance mix will differ depending on where you dance. However, for the most part you will find them to be similar. The following is information on
what you can expect to find when you come and join the most welcoming crowd in the Ballroom Dancing community, the crowd at Swing Kat's Ballroom
On High! First, remember this is a Ballroom Dance Mix. That is why you will hear lots of Waltz, Cha cha, Foxtrot, Rumba, Tango, and East Coast Swing. That is
also why you will hear a few Quicksteps and Viennese Waltzes. These are the ballroom dance styles that are popular among our dancers. Our dancers also
like a number of Hustles, West Coast Swings, Night Club 2 Steps, Sambas and some Salsa. Taking these dances along with a Bolero and a Merengue or two
everyone enjoys a great evening of dance!
Saturday Evening Ballroom Dance with Lynn Kettenburg
Our Saturday evening Ballroom Dances include the mix mentioned above. Accompanying your admission price for the evening you will find light
refreshments and a complimentary 1 1/2 hours of dance lessons. The dance lessons for the evening are given in two seperate levels one for beginners
and one for those who know a thing or two. Whatever dance style we are teaching will be taught in both lessons so you can move up in level if you can
handle it :)

Sunday Evening Ballroom Dances with Mary Lynn Perney or Sandra Dee Guillen
Our Sunday evening Ballroom Dances are a new addition here at Swing Kat so that our Ballroom Dancers can come every weekend to dance.
These dances are run by either Mary Lynn Perney or Sandra Dee Guillen. Check our CALENDAR PAGE to see who is in charge on any given night.
Along with admission there will be light refreshments and an hour dance lesson with moves for beginners as well as experienced dancers.
Admission: $10.00
Full Time Students with ID $5.00

Wednesday Evening Ballroom Dance Lessons & Private Lessons
We have pre-registered Wednesday dance classes for those wanting to learn to Ballroom Dance. These lessons are given both for beginners and for those who
know a thing or two. In the first hour we rotate styles for beginners (Bronze 1,2). In the second hour, we rotate styles for those who know a thing or two
(Bronze 3 & 4, Silver 1 & 2, plus International). Private lessons are also available!
Admission: Bronze Level $45.00 per person for all 5 weeks. Silver Level is $55.00

These lessons happen almost every Wednesday night, however you must register for class before the 5 weeks begin CLASSES PAGE.

1st Lesson- 7pm & 2nd Lesson at 8pm
